Dana Sterling from the 80s classic series Robotech.
She was the hero of the second (and least popular) arc of the story, which is my favourite to be honest.
While the first arc (Macross Saga) was undoubtebly epic and the third arc (New Generation) has some really cool mech/creature designs, there is something about the second arc (Southern Cross/The Masters) that just feels more personal and real.
Plus there was three strong female characters and no Minmay.
